Angel Tax Credit Program

The Minnesota Angel Tax Program is now accepting 2024 Annual Reports. We are NOT accepting Certification and Credit Allocation Applications. As of October 18, 2024, all general credits have been allocated. For 2024, $5 million in credits was available, $2.5 million of which was reserved for minority- and women-owned businesses, as well as businesses located in Greater Minnesota ("targeted businesses"), until 9/30/24, at which time any unused reserved credits became available for investment in any qualified business. Welcome to the Angel Tax Credit Program's online filing service. To use this online service: 1) New users must first Create an Account. Note: if you are past participant of the program, your business/fund/investor name must match our records exactly. 2) After you have created your account, Log In with your User Name and Password. 3) Only one Certification Application or Annual Report is accepted per user, unless you have a Power of Attorney account. This limit does not apply to Credit Allocation Applications or Proof of Investment submissions. 4) We recommend that you use E-Pay, have your credit card or check ready as you will be prompted to choose that option upon completing your form; you cannot log back on and then seek to use E-Pay. 5) Power of Attorneys need to create a POA account and have that account be activated by sending in a notarized POA form before entering any data on behalf of your client. If there is a notarized form on file with Angel Department please call 651-259-7599 to activate your POA status after a log in account has been created.
